Miss Piggy is an energetic, beautiful and very, nicely trained young dog! She is a very sweet, loving girl that would adore a forever home more than anything in the world! She is a 2-year old, 44-pound, Australian Shepherd with a bit of St. Bernard mixed in for flavor. Miss Piggy loves to play fetch and actually brings the toy back every time! Toys, tennis balls, kisses and conversation: she loves it all, Miss Piggy loves life! Her owner (at 75 years old) couldn't handle her anymore and that is understandable because Miss Piggy is a strong and athletic girl! She needs lots of exercise before she settles into her role of cuddle-bug. Miss Piggy would make a great agility dog with her athletic abilities and intelligence. She would also excel as a rescue or service dog. A volunteer at the shelter has taken time to work with this smart girl on basic commands, which she now knows well, she also walks nicely on leash. She may do best with older children and a family that has time to take her jogging or play a long game of fetch with her every day. With the right family, she is going to be a ton of fun to have around. There will never be a more appreciative girl, if you choose to adopt Miss Piggy, who loves life! Adoption fee= $115 for mixed breeds, $225 for pure breeds under 20 pounds, and $175 for pure breeds over 20 pounds. Prices are subject to change. This includes at least the first round of vaccinations, worming, flea treatment, spay/neuter, microchipping, microchip registration, fecal, and a Veterinary wellness exam.
